Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup oil or melted butter
- 1 egg
Optional flavor boosts (pick any):
- Garlic powder or minced garlic
- Black pepper or paprika
- Chopped herbs (parsley, rosemary, chives)
- A little grated parmesan on top
Instructions
- Heat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a small loaf pan or line it with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt.
- Add cheese and toss so it’s coated in flour.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, oil/butter, and egg.
- Combine wet + dry just until mixed. Don’t overmix — lumpy is fine.
- Pour into pan, smooth the top, add extra cheese if you want 👀
- Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes, slice, inhale.
