Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
- 4–5 apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp are perfect)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional but cozy)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, butter, and vanilla.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
- Spread apple mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- Scatter cinnamon roll pieces over the apples.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, until rolls are golden and apples are tender.
- Warm icing packets and drizzle generously over the top.
Optional Upgrades (Highly Recommended 😏)
- Add ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch
- Drizzle caramel sauce before serving
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream (non-negotiable IMO)
