Oooh, cozy mode activated 🍎✨
Here’s a Cinnamon Roll Apple Dessert that tastes like warm apple pie + gooey cinnamon rolls had a very good idea.

🍎🍥 Cinnamon Roll Apple Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4–5 apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp are perfect)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional but cozy)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, butter, and vanilla.
  3. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  4. Spread apple mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  5. Scatter cinnamon roll pieces over the apples.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes, until rolls are golden and apples are tender.
  7. Warm icing packets and drizzle generously over the top.

Optional Upgrades (Highly Recommended 😏)

  • Add ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch
  • Drizzle caramel sauce before serving
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream (non-negotiable IMO)

Make-Ahead Tip

Assemble everything, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bake fresh in the morning—perfect for brunch or holidays.

If you want:

  • a from-scratch dough version
  • a slow-cooker or air fryer version
  • or a less-sweet / more apple-forward twist

just say the word 🍂🍨
