No-Bake Biscuit Cake

Ingredients

  • 200 g (about 7 oz) plain tea biscuits or digestive biscuits
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) butter, softened
  • 2–3 tbsp cocoa powder (for chocolate version)
  • Optional: chocolate shavings, nuts, or cocoa powder for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream
    • In a bowl, mix softened butter with sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
    • For chocolate version: add cocoa powder and mix until fully incorporated.
  2. Layer the cake
    • In a rectangular or square dish, place a layer of biscuits.
    • Spread a thin layer of the cream on top.
    • Repeat layers (biscuits + cream) until all ingredients are used, ending with cream.
  3. Chill
    • Cover and refrigerate at least 3–4 hours, preferably overnight.
    • This softens the biscuits and melds the flavors.
  4. Serve
    • Slice into squares or rectangles.
    • Optionally dust with cocoa powder, grated chocolate, or nuts before serving.
