  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
    • Cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or a mix
  • Optional extras:
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • ¼ cup heavy cream or sour cream
    • Parmesan for topping

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Place asparagus on a baking sheet
