🥗 Creamy Ham Salad

This is a simple, creamy, slightly tangy ham salad—great for sandwiches, wraps, crackers, or lettuce cups. It’s quick to make and perfect for using leftover ham.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked ham (finely diced or chopped)
  • 1/3–1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard)
  • 1–2 tbsp pickle relish (sweet or dill, optional but classic)
  • 1/4 cup celery (finely chopped for crunch)
  • 2 tbsp red onion (finely chopped, optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the ham

  • Finely dice or pulse ham in a food processor for a finer, spreadable texture.

2. Mix the dressing

  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, relish, and lemon juice.
  • Stir until smooth and creamy.

3. Combine

  • Add ham, celery, and onion to the dressing.
  • Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

4. Chill (recommended)

  • Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes so flavors blend.

🍽️ Serve

Great in many ways:

  • 🥪 Sandwiches or sliders
  • 🧇 Crackers or toast
  • 🥬 Lettuce wraps for a low-carb option
  • 🥗 On a bed of greens

🔥 Tips

  • For a sweeter version, add a little honey or more relish.
  • For extra richness, mix in a spoon of sour cream.
  • Chop ham finely for a deli-style spread texture.

If you want, I can also make a spicy jalapeño ham salad, a deviled ham spread version, or a high-protein Greek yogurt version.
