🧂 Ingredients

  • 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, chopped green onions

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep the sauce
    In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, olive oil, oregano, and pepper.
  2. Add to slow cooker
    Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
  3. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Chicken should be tender and fully cooked.
  4. Thicken the sauce (optional but recommended)
    • Remove chicken.
    • Mix cornstarch + water, stir into sauce.
    • Cook on high for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
  5. Serve
    Return chicken to the sauce or drizzle over the top. Garnish if desired.
