🍍 Pineapple Dump Cake

A super easy “dump and bake” dessert—no mixing bowls, no fancy steps. Just layer everything and bake. It comes out like a buttery pineapple cobbler-cake hybrid.


🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 can (400–500g) crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (or vanilla cake mix)
  • ½–1 cup butter (melted or thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (optional, for extra caramel flavor)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the dish

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Grease a baking dish (9×13 inch works best)

2. Dump the pineapple

  • Pour crushed pineapple (with juice) into the dish
  • Spread evenly—don’t drain it

3. Add cake mix

  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the pineapple
  • Do NOT mix it in

4. Add butter

  • Drizzle melted butter all over the top
    (or place thin slices to cover as much as possible)

Optional: sprinkle brown sugar + cinnamon for deeper flavor.


5. Bake

  • Bake for 40–50 minutes
  • Top should be golden and slightly crispy
  • Edges will bubble and caramelize

🍽️ Serve

  • Let it cool slightly
  • Serve warm with:
    • vanilla ice cream 🍦
    • whipped cream
