🍓 Strawberry Cake

A soft, fluffy cake with sweet strawberry flavor—perfect for birthdays, tea time, or a simple homemade dessert.

🧾 Ingredients

🎂 Cake

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk (room temperature)
  • ½ cup oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chopped strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)

🍓 Optional strawberry flavor boost

  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam or puree (for stronger taste)
  • A few drops pink food color (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep oven & pan

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Grease and line a cake pan

2. Mix dry ingredients

In a bowl, whisk:

  • flour
  • baking powder
  • salt

3. Mix wet ingredients

In another bowl, whisk:

  • eggs
  • sugar
  • oil
  • milk
  • vanilla

Mix until smooth.


4. Combine

  • Add dry ingredients into wet mixture
  • Mix gently (don’t overmix)

Fold in chopped strawberries.


5. Bake

  • Pour batter into pan
  • Bake 30–40 minutes
  • Check with a toothpick (it should come out clean)

6. Cool & decorate

Let it cool completely before adding toppings.

  • Whipped cream + strawberries
  • Cream cheese frosting
  • Strawberry glaze (jam + a little water warmed)
