Basic chicken salad recipe

How to make it

  1. Prepare chicken
    Use fully cooked chicken and shred or dice it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix dressing
    In a bowl, combine mayonnaise (or yogurt), lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine everything
    Add chicken and vegetables into the bowl and mix well until evenly coated.
  4. Chill (optional)
    Let it sit in the fridge for 15–30 minutes for better flavor.
  5. Serve
    Eat it:
