Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (1–1.5 inches thick)
  • Salt (coarse/kosher preferred)
  • Black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, steak seasoning, or a little oil/butter

1. Bring to room temp

  • Take steak out 20–30 minutes before cooking.

2. Season generously

  • Pat dry, then season both sides with salt, pepper, and any extras.
