Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Posted on February 2, 2026 by Admin

Yep—you can poach eggs in an air fryer, and it’s surprisingly easy 😄
Here’s a simple, reliable method with creamy whites and runny yolks.

Air Fryer Poached Eggs

What You’ll Need

  • Eggs
  • Small oven-safe or air-fryer–safe ramekins
  • Hot water
  • Nonstick spray or a little oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Lightly grease a ramekin.
  3. Crack 1 egg into the ramekin.
  4. Carefully pour in hot water until the egg is just covered.
  5. Place ramekin in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 5–6 minutes for a runny yolk
    • 7–8 minutes for a firmer yolk
  7. Remove carefully, lift egg out with a slotted spoon, and drain.

Tips for perfect results

  • Use hot (not boiling) water to speed cooking
  • Cook one egg per ramekin for best shape
  • If whites spread, add ½ tsp vinegar to the water (optional)

  • Eggs Benedict
  • Over sautéed greens or hash browns
