Cheese Balls Recipe (Zero-Carb Snack)

Alright, “zero-carb” in keto language (aka technically ~0g net carbs). These are super easy and snack-dangerous 😄

Zero-Carb Cheese Balls (Keto / Carnivore-friendly)

🧀 Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (full-fat)
  • Optional flavor boosters (still zero-carb):
    • Salt
    • Garlic powder
    • Onion powder
    • Chili flakes
    • Black pepper

🔥 Method 1: Oven (Crispy Outside)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix mozzarella + cream cheese until combined.
  3. Roll into small balls and place on parchment paper.
  4. Bake 8–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Cool slightly — they firm up as they cool.

⚡ Method 2: Air Fryer (Fast + Extra Crunch)

  1. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes.
  2. Shake halfway.
  3. Let cool 2 minutes before eating.

🍳 Method 3: Pan-Fried (Chewiest)

  1. Heat nonstick pan on medium-low.
  2. Drop small cheese balls in the pan.
  3. Cook until browned on all sides.

🧠 Tips

  • Smaller balls = crispier
  • Let them cool or they’ll be gooey
  • Add a cube of cheese inside for a molten center 😏

  • Carbs: 0g net
  • Fat: high
  • Protein: moderate

If you want:

  • Carnivore-only version
  • Extra crispy chips instead of balls
  • Spicy / garlic / bacon-stuffed versions
