Posted on February 4, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh yes 😍 Glazed Apple Fritter Bread is pure bakery comfort—soft, cinnamon-spiced, loaded with apples, and finished with a sweet glaze that soaks right in.

Glazed Apple Fritter Bread

Ingredients

For the bread:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 large apples, peeled & chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup melted butter (or oil)

Cinnamon apple layer:

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients
Whisk flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  4. Combine
Stir wet ingredients into dry until just combined. Fold in apples.
  5. Layer
Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
Sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon sugar.
    Lightly swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake
Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Glaze
Cool slightly. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm bread.

Tips for Extra Magic

  • Dice apples small so they soften perfectly
  • Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch
  • Double the glaze if you love it extra sweet 😄

This is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or “just one more slice” moments.
