Peanut Butter Balls

Posted on February 3, 2026 by Admin

Classic. Dangerous. Always the first thing gone 😄
Here’s the easy, old-school Peanut Butter Balls recipe everyone loves.

Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 oz chocolate chips or candy melts

Instructions:

  1. Mix:
In a bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth.
  2. Sweeten:
Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix until a thick dough forms.
  3. Roll:
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill:
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Dip:
Melt chocolate in the microwave (30-second bursts). Dip each ball and return to the sheet.
  6. Set:
Let chocolate harden at room temp or refrigerate briefly.

Tips & Variations:

  • Use crunchy peanut butter for texture
  • Add Rice Krispies for a Buckeye-style crunch
  • Drizzle white chocolate on top for a bakery look
  • Store in the fridge up to 1 week (if they last that long 😉)

If you want, I can give you a no-chocolate version, a 3-ingredient shortcut, or a holiday Buckeye twist.
