Crab stuffed mushrooms

Crab stuffed mushrooms are a baked appetizer where mushroom caps are filled with a seasoned crab mixture and cooked until hot, creamy, and lightly browned on top.

🧂 Basic ingredients

  • Large mushrooms (white or cremini), stems removed
  • Crab meat (lump or shredded)
  • Cream cheese or mayo (for binding and creaminess)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella)
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt, black pepper, paprika or chili flakes
  • Optional: breadcrumbs and parsley

👨‍🍳 Simple method

  1. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  2. Mix crab, cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings.
  3. Spoon filling into each mushroom cap.
  4. Add cheese or breadcrumbs on top if you want extra crust.
  5. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for about 15–20 minutes until golden and hot.

🍽️ Result

You get soft mushrooms with a rich, creamy seafood filling and a slightly crisp top—usually served as an appetizer or party snack.
