- 1–2 lobster tails (or cooked lobster meat)
- 8–12 sea scallops (patted dry)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil (for searing)
🧄 Garlic butter sauce
- 4–5 tbsp butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Prep seafood
- Pat scallops very dry (important for a good sear).
- Season lobster and scallops with salt and pepper.
- If using raw lobster tails, cut shell and loosen meat slightly.
2. Cook scallops
- Heat oil in a hot pan (medium-high to high heat).
- Sear scallops 2–3 minutes per side until golden crust forms.
- Remove and set aside.
3. Cook lobster
- In same pan, add a little butter.
- Cook lobster meat 2–4 minutes per side until opaque and tender.
- Remove from pan.
4. Make garlic butter sauce
- Lower heat to medium.
- Add butter and garlic to pan.
- Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn garlic).
- Add lemon juice, paprika, and parsley.
5. Combine
- Return lobster and scallops to the pan.
- Spoon garlic butter sauce over everything.
- Let it warm together for 1–2 minutes.
