Lobster, scallops, and garlic butter is a simple but luxurious seafood combination—sweet, tender shellfish cooked quickly and coated in rich, fragrant butter sauce. It’s restaurant-style food you can easily make at home.


🦞🧄🧈 Lobster, Scallops & Garlic Butter

🧾 Ingredients

🦞 Seafood

  • 1–2 lobster tails (or cooked lobster meat)
  • 8–12 sea scallops (patted dry)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil (for searing)

🧄 Garlic butter sauce

  • 4–5 tbsp butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Pinch of chili flakes (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep seafood

  • Pat scallops very dry (important for a good sear).
  • Season lobster and scallops with salt and pepper.
  • If using raw lobster tails, cut shell and loosen meat slightly.

2. Cook scallops

  • Heat oil in a hot pan (medium-high to high heat).
  • Sear scallops 2–3 minutes per side until golden crust forms.
  • Remove and set aside.

3. Cook lobster

  • In same pan, add a little butter.
  • Cook lobster meat 2–4 minutes per side until opaque and tender.
  • Remove from pan.

4. Make garlic butter sauce

  • Lower heat to medium.
  • Add butter and garlic to pan.
  • Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn garlic).
  • Add lemon juice, paprika, and parsley.

5. Combine

  • Return lobster and scallops to the pan.
  • Spoon garlic butter sauce over everything.
  • Let it warm together for 1–2 minutes.
