Garlic bread

Garlic bread is buttery, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with garlic flavor—super easy and perfect with pasta, soups, or snacks.


Classic Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette or any bread loaf
  • 4–5 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced) or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1–2 tbsp chopped parsley or coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: mozzarella or cheddar cheese, chili flakes

Instructions

1. Make garlic butter

  • Mix softened butter + garlic + salt + herbs
  • Add chili flakes if you like a little heat

2. Prepare bread

  • Slice bread lengthwise or into thick slices
  • Spread garlic butter generously on each piece

3. Bake

Oven method (best)

  • Preheat to 180°C (350°F)
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden
  • Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness

Air fryer

  • 180°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes

4. Cheese option (optional but amazing)

  • Add shredded cheese on top before baking
  • Bake until melted and bubbly

Tips

  • Fresh garlic gives stronger flavor than powder
  • Don’t burn garlic—it turns bitter quickly
  • Let butter soften naturally for easy spreading
  • Add a pinch of parmesan for extra depth

Serving ideas

  • With pasta or spaghetti
  • Alongside soups (like mushroom or tomato soup)
  • As a snack with dips
