Apple Pie with Crescent Rolls

Posted on April 20, 2026 by Admin

🍎🥐 Apple Pie with Crescent Rolls (Easy Shortcut Dessert)

This is a quick “fake apple pie” made with flaky crescent rolls wrapped around sweet cinnamon apples—crispy outside, gooey inside, and ready in under 30 minutes.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 medium apples (peeled and thinly sliced or diced)
  • 2–3 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

🍯 Optional topping

  • Powdered sugar
  • Caramel sauce
  • Vanilla ice cream

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the apple filling

  • Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Cook for 5–7 minutes until apples are soft and syrupy.
  • Stir in vanilla, then let cool slightly.

2. Assemble crescents

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Separate crescent dough triangles.
  • Add 1–2 tbsp apple filling to the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up tightly like a crescent.

3. Bake

  • Place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10–13 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

4. Finish

  • Optional: brush with melted butter and sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle caramel.

🍽️ Serve

  • Serve warm with:
    • vanilla ice cream 🍦
    • whipped cream
    • caramel drizzle 🍯

🔥 Tips

  • Don’t overfill or they may leak while baking.
  • Granny Smith apples give a nice tart contrast to the sweet filling.
  • Let filling cool slightly so dough doesn’t get soggy.

If you want, I can also make a cream cheese apple pie crescent version, a pull-apart apple pie crescent bake, or a mini apple dumpling version with caramel sauce.
