Here’s a reliable soft and fluffy dinner rolls recipe—simple, bakery-style, and perfect for everyday meals:


🍞 Soft Dinner Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 1 egg (optional, for extra softness)

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Activate yeast (if needed):
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

2. Make dough:
Add flour, salt, butter, and egg. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

3. First rise:
Cover and let dough rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

4. Shape rolls:
Punch down dough, divide into equal pieces, and shape into balls.

5. Second rise:
Place in a greased baking tray. Cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes.

6. Bake:
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden on top.

7. Finish:
Brush with melted butter immediately after baking for a soft, shiny crust.
