Low-carb 3-ingredient salmon patties

Posted on April 15, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple low-carb 3-ingredient salmon patties recipe—fast, filling, and no breadcrumbs needed.

Low-Carb 3-Ingredient Salmon Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 can (or about 300 g) salmon, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 2–3 tbsp almond flour (or finely crushed pork rinds if you prefer)

Instructions

1. Mix

  • In a bowl, flake the salmon
  • Add egg and almond flour
  • Mix until it forms a thick, moldable mixture

2. Shape

  • Form into small patties (press firmly so they hold together)

3. Cook

Pan-fry (best texture)

  • Heat a little oil or butter in a pan
  • Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp

Air fryer option

  • 190°C (375°F) for 8–10 minutes, flip halfway

Tips

  • If mixture feels too wet → add a bit more almond flour
  • If too dry → add a tiny splash of the salmon liquid or another small egg yolk
  • Let patties rest 5 minutes before cooking so they firm up

Serving ideas

  • With garlic mayo or yogurt dip
  • On a salad for a low-carb meal
  • In lettuce wraps instead of buns

If you want, I can upgrade this into a crispy “fish cake” version, a spicy chili garlic version, or a high-protein meal prep batch recipe.
