Here’s a simple, flavorful recipe for Turkey Stuffing Balls—crispy outside, soft and savory inside, perfect for holidays or using leftover turkey.


🦃🍞 Turkey Stuffing Balls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or finely chopped)
  • 3 cups prepared stuffing (cooled)
  • 1 egg (to bind)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (as needed for moisture)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried sage or poultry seasoning
  • ½ cup grated onion or finely chopped celery (optional)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (for coating, optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp butter or oil (for brushing or frying)

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Mix the filling:

  • In a large bowl, combine shredded turkey, stuffing, egg, seasoning, and onion/celery.
  • Add a little broth if the mixture feels too dry. It should be moist but firm enough to shape.

2. Shape balls:

  • Roll into golf-ball-sized portions.
  • If you want extra crunch, roll lightly in breadcrumbs.

3. Cook (choose one method):

🥄 Oven baked (best option):

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F)
  • Place on a lined tray
  • Brush with melted butter
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy

🍳 Pan fried:

  • Shallow fry in medium heat oil until browned on all sides

4. Serve:

  • With gravy, cranberry sauce, or dipping sauces
  • Great as appetizers or a side dish

🌟 Tips:

  • Let stuffing cool before mixing so it holds shape better
  • Don’t over-moisten or they’ll fall apart
  • Add cheese inside for a richer version
