Here’s a flavorful and easy garlic glazed chicken with veggie rice recipe:


🍗 Garlic Glazed Chicken with Veggie Rice

🧂 Ingredients

For Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts (or boneless thighs)
  • 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

For Veggie Rice:

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold)
  • 1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup capsicum (bell pepper)
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste

🍳 Instructions

1. Marinate & Cook Chicken

  • Mix garlic, soy sauce, honey, chili sauce, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Coat chicken and let it sit for 20–30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  • Pour remaining marinade into the pan and cook until it thickens into a glaze.
  • Coat the chicken well and set aside.

2. Make Veggie Rice

  • Heat oil or butter in a pan.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add vegetables and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  • Add rice, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well and cook for a few minutes.

3. Serve

  • Slice the garlic glazed chicken.
  • Serve over or beside the veggie rice.
  • Drizzle extra glaze on top for more flavor.
