Baked Italian Sliders recipe—gooey, savory, and perfect for parties or quick dinners.


🥪 Baked Italian Sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 small slider buns or dinner rolls (soft buns work best)
  • 300–400g Ground beef (or shredded chicken / deli salami mix)
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni or salami (optional but very “Italian deli” style)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions

1. Prepare the filling

  • Cook ground beef in a pan until browned.
  • Drain excess fat.
  • Add marinara sauce + Italian seasoning.
  • Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thick.

2. Assemble sliders

  • Slice buns horizontally (keep top and bottom connected as a slab).
  • Place bottom half in a baking tray.
  • Layer:
    • Meat sauce
    • Pepperoni/salami (optional)
    • Mozzarella cheese
  • Cover with top buns.

3. Add buttery topping

  • Mix melted butter + garlic powder + Parmesan + a pinch of Italian seasoning.
  • Brush generously over the top buns.

4. Bake

  • Cover with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.

5. Serve

  • Slice and serve hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

💡 Tips

  • Don’t over-sauce the filling or sliders can get soggy.
  • Use a mix of mozzarella + cheddar for extra stretch.
  • You can make a vegetarian version with mushrooms, bell peppers, and olives.
