🧾 Ingredients

  • 500g chicken (breast or thigh, sliced or bite-sized)
  • 1½ cups mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • Salt & black pepper

🍯 Sauce

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • Optional: chili flakes for heat

1. Cook the chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until golden and fully done. Remove and set aside.

2. Sauté mushrooms

  • In the same pan, add a bit more butter or oil if needed.
  • Cook mushrooms until browned and slightly caramelized.

3. Make the sauce

  • Let it simmer.

4. Combine

  • Return chicken to the pan.
