Pepperoni Pizza Bombs

Posted on April 18, 2026 by Admin

🍕🔥 Pepperoni Pizza Bombs

Pepperoni pizza bombs are bite-sized, cheesy pockets of pizza dough stuffed with pepperoni, sauce, and mozzarella—crispy on the outside, gooey inside. Great for snacks, parties, or quick comfort food.

🧾 Ingredients (makes ~12–16 bombs)

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 24–40 slices pepperoni (about 2–3 per bomb)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1–2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: grated Parmesan, chili flakes

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Prep dough

  • Separate dough into small equal portions.
  • Flatten each piece into a small circle.

3. Fill the bombs

  • Add:
    • 1–2 tsp pizza sauce
    • A pinch of mozzarella
    • 2–3 pepperoni slices
  • Don’t overfill (they need to seal properly).

4. Seal tightly

  • Pull edges of dough together and pinch closed.
  • Roll gently into a smooth ball.

5. Bake

  • Place seam-side down on tray.
  • Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

6. Finish

  • Sprinkle Parmesan on top while hot.
  • Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

💡 Tips for best results

  • Seal dough very well to prevent cheese leakage.
  • Use cold pepperoni and cheese for easier handling.
  • Don’t overload filling—less is more.
  • Bake until deep golden for crisp outer texture.

🔥 Variations

  • Cheesy garlic bombs: skip pepperoni, add extra mozzarella + garlic butter
  • Spicy version: add jalapeños or chili flakes
  • BBQ pizza bombs: swap sauce for BBQ sauce + chicken
  • Stuffed crust style: add a small cube of cheese in the center

If you want, I can also make you a air fryer version (faster and crispier), a deep-fried pizza bomb version, or a 5-minute frozen dough hack version.
