🦃🍞 Turkey Stuffing Balls

A tasty way to use leftover turkey and stuffing—crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside. Great for snacks, appetizers, or holiday leftovers.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, finely chopped or shredded
  • 3 cups prepared stuffing (leftover or freshly made)
  • 1 egg (helps bind)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (if mixture is too dry)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage or poultry seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional, for extra richness)

For coating (optional but recommended)

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

🍳 Instructions

1. Mix ingredients

In a large bowl, combine:

  • turkey
  • stuffing
  • egg
  • seasonings
  • optional cheese

Mix until it holds together. Add a little broth if too dry.


2. Shape balls

Roll mixture into golf ball-sized portions and place on a tray.


3. Coat (optional for crispiness)

Roll each ball in flour → egg → breadcrumbs.


4. Cook

🍳 Option 1: Bake

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F)
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and heated through

🔥 Option 2: Fry

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Fry until crispy and golden on all sides

🍽️ Serving ideas

  • With gravy or cranberry sauce
  • As party appetizers
  • Inside sandwiches or sliders

💡 Tips

  • Cold stuffing works best for shaping
  • Don’t overpack or balls may fall apart
  • Add herbs like parsley for freshness
  • Cheese inside gives a gooey center
