1. Form patties

  • Mix ground beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and seasonings.
  • Shape into oval patties (like mini steaks).

2. Brown patties

  • Heat a pan and sear patties 3–4 minutes per side.
  • Remove and set aside (they will finish cooking in gravy).

3. Make gravy

  • In the same pan, melt butter.
  • SautΓ© onions and mushrooms until soft and golden.
  • Stir in flour and cook 1–2 minutes.
  • Slowly add beef broth while whisking.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.

4. Finish cooking

  • Return patties to the gravy.
  • Simmer covered for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
