Steak and Shrimp Spaghetti

Steak and Shrimp Spaghetti is a rich “surf & turf” pasta dish—juicy beef, tender shrimp, and pasta tossed in a buttery garlic or creamy sauce. It’s restaurant-style comfort food you can easily make at home.


🍝 Steak & Shrimp Spaghetti

🥩 Ingredients (2 servings)

Protein:

  • 200–250g steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tender cut)
  • 150–200g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

Pasta:

  • 200g spaghetti

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 cup cream (or milk for lighter version)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Extras:

  • Parsley (garnish)
  • Lemon juice (optional for brightness)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook pasta

Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and save 1/2 cup pasta water.


2. Cook steak

  • Season steak with salt, pepper, paprika
  • Sear in hot pan with oil (2–4 min per side depending on thickness)
  • Rest 5–10 minutes, then slice thinly

3. Cook shrimp

  • In same pan, melt a little butter
  • Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink
  • Remove and set aside

4. Make sauce

  • In the same pan, add butter + garlic
  • Sauté until fragrant
  • Add cream + Parmesan + chili flakes
  • Stir until slightly thickened
  • Add a splash of pasta water if needed

5. Combine

  • Add spaghetti into sauce and toss well
  • Add steak slices and shrimp
  • Mix gently to coat everything evenly

6. Serve

Top with parsley, extra Parmesan, and a squeeze of lemon.


🔥 Tips for best results

  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they get rubbery fast
  • Let steak rest before slicing so it stays juicy
  • Add pasta water to make the sauce silky, not heavy
