cinnamon toast

🍞✨ Cinnamon Toast

A quick, sweet, crispy toast—perfect for breakfast or a snack.


🛒 Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 2–4 slices bread (white or brown)
  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1–1½ tsp cinnamon powder

Optional:

  • A pinch of salt (enhances flavor)
  • Honey or maple syrup for drizzling

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Make cinnamon sugar

Mix sugar + cinnamon (and a tiny pinch of salt if you want deeper flavor).

2. Butter the bread

Spread softened butter evenly on both sides or just one side (for lighter version).

3. Add topping

Sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously over the buttered side.

4. Toast it

Choose one method:

Pan method (best crisp):

  • Heat a pan on low-medium
  • Place bread sugar-side down first for 1–2 minutes
  • Flip and lightly toast other side

Oven/broiler method:

  • Bake at 180°C for 5–7 minutes until golden

🍽️ Serve

Eat warm—crispy edges, buttery center, sweet cinnamon crunch.

  • Add sliced bananas or strawberries
  • Drizzle honey or condensed milk
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts for crunch
  • Add cream cheese before cinnamon sugar for a richer version
